A brand built to guide you home

After a few years working as part of a team, Kim Matus was ready to build a brand of her own. She came to me looking for something personal and true to who she is, with one major constraint: as a Keller Williams realtor, her brand needed to work seamlessly within their system. Whatever we built had to feel like her, while still sitting comfortably next to one of the most recognizable brands in real estate. How do you bring personal energy to a brand that's being shared with something so recognizable? That was the question we set out to answer.

Sometimes the best part of the process is finding the thing that was already there. For Kim, that was a compass.

Kim came to me thinking she wanted a clean monogram, something simple with her initials. As we dug into who she is and what her business actually means to her, the compass kept coming up. She gives them to clients as a gift, a small gesture that says everything about how she approaches her work. Guidance, trust, helping people find their way home. Once we found it, everything else clicked into place around it. Clean typography, handwritten accents for warmth, and a palette that holds its own next to Keller Williams without disappearing into it. And yes, her initials are in there. You just have to know where to look.

COLOR PALETTE

Rooted in the Keller Williams palette, with teal and soft blues added to bring in some warmth and make it feel unmistakably Kim.
